About Pepscope BV:

Pepscope is a Rotterdam-based biotech company developing tailored, in-depth kinome and protein profiling technologies. Using kinase substrate microarrays and cutting-edge mass spectrometry technologies, we profile protein activities in cells and tissues, including protein kinases. With these novel insights, we aim to accelerate drug development and enable precision medicine. In addition, we develop diagnostic profiling tools to improve cancer treatment and early detection of glioblastoma and colon cancer. The position:

We are looking for a highly committed and accurate technician with expertise in cell biology and protein analysis. You should enjoy multitasking, which requires excellent organizational skills. It will be your responsibility to conduct scientific projects and provide technical support to our customers and collaborators.

Your profile:

You are a good experimenter, keen to innovate and eager to carry out project-specific and general tasks. For this function, it is a necessity that you hold a license for working with radioisotopes or are willing to obtain one. Excellent proficiency in English and good communicative skills are also important requirements.

Do you have experience in the field of tumor biology and biotechnology and are you motivated to expand your knowledge and skills, then you might be the candidate we are looking for.

Professional requirements:

  • A BSc or MSc in biomedical sciences or similar
  • A license to work with radioisotopes is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in the following areas is preferred: microarrays, mass spectrometry and tissue culture.
  • You can plan and run several experiments in parallel.
